Royal Mail

It seems that Royal Mail is staging its first national walkout or should I say strike in 11 years soon. Oh no...What happened with privatisation? I mean those people who are currently working with Royal Mail would feel frustrated due to the fact that their pay rise is below inflation. Well, this is what they are claiming for.

What is more important is that the union is asking the government for more money so that they can increase the salary of those people who are working with Royal Mail. Well, what do you have to say about this then?

No doubt it is true that the BOE has increase interest rates for the past one year to 5.5 percent. It is still holding on to the current interest rate. However, it is quite damaging to people like you and me because everything is more expensive due to the increase in the interest rate alone. Potential house buyers will be put off due to the fact that they no longer can afford to buy houses anymore. A typical two storey terrace house in London would cost around stg 330000 pounds. That is no laughing matter. How would a common person earning around stg 21000 a year can afford to buy the house then?

I really hope that the government will come up with a plan soon to help people to buy houses. Not that people are hoping to buy two houses but their first house and they could not do so due to the increased in house prices. Terrible!
