Possible Postal Strike Again!

I don't get this. Why would the authorities want to transfer Crown Post Offices to WHSmith? Would it be better that those post offices stay as where they are? Is it a move to save cost because renting a property would cost the group a lot of money? Rather than renting a property, they rent a space within a property which would help them to save cost. Hum...Good idea but would it affect post office workers? Since privatisation, we have lots of trouble with workers at Post Office. Well, I really hope that such problems will be solved.

As Post Office had been privatised, it is safe to say that the company as a group would put more emphasis in getting more money rather than to serve its customers. I do have the privilege to ask a post office worker as to his own opinion about working in the post office. He said that they would have to be initiave and come out with new ideas. Post offices would no longer stick to the regiment of just selling stamps and send faxes, they sell stationary too. They also have photo booth and photostat machines. They also have a cash machine outside the post office. That is cool man! They need to provide more services, otherwise the post office will shut.They need to generate more income. That is the problem now.
