KL traffic at a crawl - How to help?

I don't understand. There was a warning given to motorist stating that the KL traffic is pretty bad and it is wise to avoid going to town by car. Hum... That is funny. Do you know why? The whole city is flooded with cars! How can we help to ease the traffic?

There is a good way in helping the city to clear up the pollution! Car pooling, use less of private vehicles and use more of the public transport. I think the problem is that with the new bus system, it is not giving the city the breather that it needs. Rapid KL is a good idea but implementation is poor. Bus drivers should be on time with their shifts but I don't think they are following the time schedule, to be honest.

We could also follow what Beijing is doing - forbid vehicles from entering the city. Only certain vehicles are allowed to enter the city on different days. That will also help mother Earth. What do you think?

Just look at the pollution index in the city. I am sure that it will be quite high. What can we do about it? We must start action!
