O2 UK new terms and coditions

I've got a bad news guys. Remember when we always use O2 UK as it will allow us to make 0870 ad 0845 calls as inclusive minutes? Well, they have change their terms and conditions back in April 2007 where by all new contracts will not state that 0870, 0845 or 0844 as inclusive minutes. They also exclude 0800 numbers as inclusive minutes.

From my understanding, the new terms and conditions will only apply to new customers but I've got news that starting from 28 September 2007, all contracts will have to abide to the new rule. This will mean that existing contracts which were taken out before April 2007 will be subjected to the new ruling. This is bad...

That would mean that it is pointless to sign up a contract with O2 UK. This is because now everyone would have to pay for calling the banks or any establishments who use 0870, 0845 or 0844 numbers. This is really annoying because now people would have to pay for such service. I think many people will leave o2 as a result of this.

*update*

I guess Virgin Mobile is the last mobile company in the UK to include 07744 numbers into their inclusive minutes( only on pay monthly contracats or sim only contracts). Consumers can make use of 07744 calls to their family overseas without the need to buy a calling card.
