Everyone's DNA on profile?

A senior judge spoke about having everyone's DNA on permanent profile stored in the UK. What is the purpose? To combat crime and to protect people living in the country. Not only that, it will be useful to help other nation in getting rid of terrorism. Well, I am not sure whether it will be 100% useful.

Think about it....Everyone's DNA stored in a massive database... Scarry!!! I am not sure what people will comment on it. Personally, I think storing DNA is a good idea but the problem is that ther are bound to have some joker who would temper with the DNA. I am not saying that we cannot trust everyone but common...We do see in real life story where by someone's DNA got mix-up with others?
