Gun crimes - How to solve the problem?

I am just puzzled. Why would people want to involve themselves with guns and commit crimes with it? I really hope that there should be a solution in getting guns off the street. We do not know why guns are being used over here but we should provide ample support to everyone who were affected or potential risk to gun crimes.

I hope that the government will do something over here. We do not want our young children committing gun crimes or being the victim of gun crimes.
