Mahatma Gandhi

I have high respect for the 'Father of the Nation' but I did have an interesting conversation with a person regarding Mahatma Gandhi. He mentioned that the great Gandhi is a communist in his ideology. I don't see the reason why. I always think that Gandhi is always a people's person so that is why he was saying that.

I don't understand why communist is the enemy of catholism too. Is it true? I would really appreciate someone would share some light over here. Thank you!

How could Ghandi be a Communist when his fight was for democracy? doesn't make sense really. Could be a racist point of view. Anyway, The Communist weren't just an enemy of the Catholic Church, They are against all religions that educate it's followers to fight for democracy. The Church has been always fighting for democracy & this has made the church fall in the bad books of the Communist Government. The Chinese Religion & Buddism is pretty much allowed in China but highly controlled by the Communist Government, the religious leaders play their cards well with the Chinese leaders for survival of their religious faith & places of worship.

If we look at Myanmar, it's an extream form of Communism by the Junta Military Government & see what they have done to the Buddist monks? Two weeks ago, The Junta Government killed a huge amount of Monks because the Monks were fighting for democracy & for the release of Ang Sang Su Ki.

I can understand what you are trying to say. It is really true of what you have said. It is a matter of fact that sometimes people does have different ideology and it is true. We have to stick to ourselves.
