Sony Hell

When you do get a new model of a Sony Vaio, beware! I am saying this is because you might be known that it would come with pre-installed Vista with its drivers which does not support Windows XP! Moreover, you might be really cross if you have found out that the particular model does not come with recovery DVDs. You, as the consumer, would have to make a recovery DVD from the hard drive because the setup files were being stored in the hidden hard drive.

When you try to find all pre-installed drivers of your model, Sony does not have them on their vaio-link website! More telephone calls to them at chargeable of 0870 continues. In the end, they could not help you because they do not have access to the hidden files, not even the techinicians! It begs the question of whether it is fair to consumers as the laptop does not really function the way they do! Normally you can made a recovery DVD just in case your system crashed. Well, you can't over here due to proprietary softwares (Oh God...). What now?

Just give me one reason why I should stay on with Sony? I will definately not going to buy another Sony in the future! I think I would stick with Dell next time. In fact, I was really happy with Dell. I would have gotten another Dell if not for their delay in shipping out custom laptops for two weeks!!!
