However, there are a few differences that you can come up with. First of all, the screen is 0.2" bigger than the original N95 (2.8" compared to 2.6"). Secondly, the internal memory of the new N95 has an internal memory of 8GB while the original had only 160MB. Thirdly, with the new N95, you can't upgrade the memory while with the original N95, you can upgrade your phone's memory. As I was told, the original N95 is compatible with SDHC cards. Yahoo! Fourly, the battery on the new N95 is powered by BL-6F which is 1200mah while the original N95 only had the BL-5F which is 950mah. There were good suggestions to upgrade your original N95 with the new BL-6F battery on your original N95 but the BL-6F battery is nowhere to be found in the market right now!!!
Anyway, for the time being, you can only get the Nokia N95 8GB exclusively on Vodafone UK. Some Vodafone shopes will give you an unlocked version with original Nokia firmware and not Vodafone branded. Try your luck. With £45 a month on a 18 months contract, the phone is free for you.
