AAAI (Antitrust Action Against Intel)

Remember Dell? Ofcause most of you would know this brand. It is one of the well known brand when we are talking about pc or laptops. They allow customers to customise their pc and laptops at an affordable price. Another thing is that you do know that AMD brought an action against Dell for only offering Intel chipsets and not a single chipset from AMD. What happened in the end is that Dell had to start selling AMD products as it is just anti-competition if Dell were to sell CPU from Intel only. In this case, AMD won the case.

Not so long ago, AMD wants to bring an action against Intel itself for anti-competitive action as they claimed that Intel is trying to force them out out of the market. In supporting AMD, New York has granted AMD the opportunity to do so. We will wait and see as to how AMD is going to make its way through.

I think the AMD case is going to be similar to the case between AMD and Dell. Fingers crossed.
