Getting Rid of Internet Explorer

I am sick and tired of the behaviour of Internet Explorer 8 beta 1 on my pc. It is driving me crazy! After reading through many posts, I have decided to install the latest from microsoft - Internet Explorer 8 beta 1. No doubt that it is still in the beta stage, nevertheless, it has passed the acid test. I then begin to install and after a reboot, I have received many unwanted messages informing me that I have loads of malware programmes in my pc. I could not believe it because I have just use ad-aware to scan my pc not too long ago! Oh no.

I have tried using IE 8 beta 1 and it seems to me that it is a little bit faster than IE 7. Wait, this is just not the end. IE 8 beta 1 has a function whereby you can emulate IE 7! Is that cool or what? I used the function and it was functioning like IE 7 again but this time with the power of IE 8. I was impressed but after a reboot, I have received many malware alerts AGAIN! I am just not happy in this. Oh well, do you know what happened next?

I have uninstall IE from my system. Stick with Mozilla Firefox or Opera. Trust me.

Please don't say that. I am just a common guy. Nevertheless, I have found out that I can uninstall IE and now using Safari browser from Apple. I have also tried Mozilla and Opera but I found Safari to be the fastest in opening web pages.

Irrespective of what browser you use, it sounds like you should maybe run a virus check on your machine.

Try Avast's free virus cleaner. They also have a free anti-virus products as well for home users.

I have tried, thank you very much but it does not work. I do not know why but after reformatting the pc twice (using full format), my windows xp is now running properly without the malware pop ups. I do not know why but so far so good. In fact, I am using AVG Internet Security at the moment (£20 for two years licence) and it is alright for the moment. Thanks!
