Google Chrome uses existing codes from Mozilla Firefox but maintained their originality. When I have tried to install Chrome, it actually said that it is a public beta version and more improvement will be expected. Oh well, I gave it a try. Oh no...The browser is simple but there is nothing that I can do about it. It is basically a simple browser without any known security build in. I feel that it is funny that they have released Chrome, hoping to drive users away from IE.
I have to say that I don't use IE anymore although I do have IE8 beta 2 installed on my pc. I do have the latest Firefox installed on my pc but interestingly, I am using Safari 3 most of the time. I have to agree that Safari is not as user friendly as Firefox but it has its advantage too. Safari is very much faster than Firefox and it has a build in 'private function', just like the IE8's 'in private' button. I don't like to use IE8's 'in private' function because it is a hassle. On the contrary, Safari 3 is just absolutely fantastic! IE8 opens up quickly but I think it is because I do have a fairly good computer to start off with. I have checked on the windows taskbar and it has used about 10% of my pc's resources. That is a lot compared to Firefox and Safari. In dealing with IE, Firefox and Safari, Safari uses the least amount of resources here (between IE, Firefox and Safari). Google Chrome is another league because at this stage, it is the champion of the Internet Browser when it comes to resource usage. It beats the three of them above.
However, I would have to say that Chrome is on a different league because the browser is not really mature. It takes Google another few months to perfect their browser before more test could be determined whether it is the best browser.
