You must be questioning me how do I use the phone. Well, first of all, I have put network signal on dual mode. It is always running on 3G for most of the time. I would talk for 30 minutes a day and listen to mp3s for around 30 minutes and surf the internet for 30 minutes. What do I get after 8 hours? one bar left on my battery. I have tried running it on GSM mode and guess what? The reception is not as strong as 3G and I would experience some drop calls occasionally. I don't know what is wrong with the E90. I thought that something is wrong with its mobo.
I have asked for a replacement handset once and this is the second time in six months I am calling out for a replacement set. The assistance could not help me much but to ask for my phone to be replaced. Well, my question to other E90 user is whether they have experienced the same problem as I did on the O2 UK network? Your help is much appreciated.
I am still waiting for a reply from O2 regarding sending back my unit for a replacement set.
Update: 13/09/2008
O2 has kindly send me another unit and it seems to be alright. At least O2 kept their promise. Anyway, as far as I am concern, the E90 is doing fine but I think O2 network is not that brilliant at my area although they said that they have just recently upgraded their system to support 3G at my place. Well, I have to get on to 3G if I want to have full coverage. 2G coverage of O2 over here is not good. Contrary to Vodafone, they said that they have total 3G coverage over here but there is no 3G coverage over here! They then said that I must have been living on a blind spot for mobile network. Well, they could be true. Anyway, I think Vodafone's signals are stronger than O2 over here.

I owned the E90 for about a year. Here's a tip: Just get the E71 - your problems will be solved and you won't have to carry a brick in your pocket. I am posting this on my E71. Best phone on the market!
Thank you so much. I will definitely go for the E71 when O2 offers the phone on contract. Before that, I would like to give the E90 one last chance since O2 told me today that they will replace my handset for a second one in six months!!! Anyway, I am just concerned about the SAR value on the E71. It is stated that the value is above 1.3W/kg. Do you notice any difference?
Thanks so much.
