Nokia 6260

Wow! GPS on a Symbian S40 mobile phone! That is excellent, don't you think so? Look at the Nokia 6260's specification will tell you that it is such a marvellous phone. One thing for sure. It is an eye catching phone. I have no doubt about it. Sometimes, I feel that S40 phones are pretty cool in using it. The menu system is uncomplicated and hence, it is pretty fast.

Look at most of the S60 phones like the Nokia E71-1. No doubt that you can install many applications on the Symbian S60 OS, nevertheless, one thing for sure, the OS will bound to freeze quite a little. The good news is that with S60, there are many ready applications but not for S40 applications. I am still looking for GPS software for any S40 mobile phones. I think it might worth a try in getting the nokia 6260 because it is light and it runs on S40 OS! I love it!

I am still using the good old Nokia 6300 which runs on the S40 OS. The menu system is quick and never hang. I do experience freezing OS on several occasions on my Nokia E71-1 though. You can say that the OS hang might be resolved if Nokia were to release better firmware. That is true though. This is because after updating my Nokia E71-1 to firmware 110, I have no freezing problems anymore. Kudos to Nokia!!! I know that I can rely on them! I have utmost faith in them!

It does not really matter if other mobile phone manufacturers have developed better phones. I am still in love with Nokia because their phone's are stable in quality and also in their mobile phone's firmware. They will listen to customers! That is why if you have a Nokia mobile phone, you are always welcome to update your phone's firmware! That will resolve all the bugs in the firmware.
