Suck it up, Mobile Providers!!!

Sometimes I wonder how mobile providers in the UK are allowed to be so nasty towards a consumer. Look, when you are dealing with a business customer or even a consumer, there is nothing wrong in knowing what happened and the solution to deal with the case.

I was quite disturbed when one of my friends told me just now regarding how sincere Vodafone was when it comes to customer service. She has been a Vodafone customer for ages. She pays around £8 a month extra for insurance, just in case if her phone, together with her mobile sim card is lost or stolen. What I have heard is unheard of.

I know that it is difficult to explain but apparently this was what happened and it is not hearsay because she told me about it. She did not notice that her mobile was stolen. When she realised that her phone was stolen, she immediately went to the police station to report her phone being stolen. She also called Vodafone about it. She then received a new mobile phone from Vodafone but not long after, a new bill which came up to around a thousand pounds.

She then immediately called Vodafone customer service but she received no answer from them. All they said was that she has to pay for the airtime which the theif has made. I think this is so unfair!!! What is going on over here? Here, she has insurance and it should cover her losses, right? She called within minutes when she realised that her phone was stolen. What else would she need to do?

Anyway, I hope that Vodafone will be able to resolve this matter quickly without any problems. One more thing is that never ever sign a mobile contract with 3 UK. Tust me, you do not want to involve yourself with 3 UK. They are even worst than Vodafone UK. In fact, they are the worst!!!
