Dell lawsuit

Dell would have to fork out around US$3.35 million to 34 US States for using deceptive practices to sell its products. It covers matter which includes customer having problems with its financing promotions, rebate offers, tech support and repair policies. The company will be US$ 1.5 million towards a restitution fund and the rest to the States with the intention to cover legal costs and other expenses.

Dell did not admit any wrongdoings and if you are living in the USA and one of Dell's customers who had purchased a Dell product between 1 April 2005 and 13 April 2009, you may be entitled to settlement monies from Dell.
