University Sains Malaysia - Do you want your child to be admitted there?

Have you heard about University Sains Malaysia's achievement when they tried to do everything online, as much as they could? I think you have heard of the latest blunder which caused chaos among potential students and their parents. I have one word for USM officials though: 'damn'.

I have no sympathy for USM though. Do you know why? I don't think they feel responsible about what they are trying to do or what mistakes have they done. There is no accountability. If things are not doing well, they will blame everyone except themselves... Well, now is the moment of truth. When wrong information being uploaded to all potential students, 4157 person to be exact, who is going to take the heat then? The person who uploaded the information or USM themselves? Sure, with the apex- status, they (USM)thinks that they are great and they are a few steps above all other universities... Oh dear, what happened now?

I feel that USM should learn from this phrase.....More hase, less speed...

The problem is that we don't really know who is the culprit. It may just be the person who is in charge of sending those e-mails to successful candidates. However, we have understand that the chain of responsibility will go up and who is in charge of that? It could be the vice chancellor or the chancellor himself!
