Apple Iphone 3GS

If you are thinking of getting an Iphone 3GS on contract, you might want to think again though. I am saying this is because at this moment, it is best for someone to just stick to a pay as you go Iphone 3GS. Do you know why? Well, I have received news that the WWDC will be held next month and I was invited to go to the conference. However, I don't think that I will have the time since I'm not free at this moment.

Having said that, there is a new Iphone being developed. I'm sure that some of you have heard about an Apple Engineer being sacked for leaving a prototype Iphone 4G or HD by the chair and someone took posession of it.

Judging by the way how it goes, you might want to wait for a while for the new Iphone to appear. What about those people who thinks that this is the best time to buy the Iphone 3GS? I think it is the best time to buy an Iphone 3GS now.

Just have a look at the trend now. You have O2, Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile selling the Iphone 3GS. Just to take note that T-Mobile will only sell the Iphone 3GS if you are an existing T-Mobile customer while Vodafone will only sell the Iphone through their stores.

I have looked at their price plan. If you are thinking of going on a shorter contract and you are willing to pay for the handset price, take Tesco Mobile instead. I am saying this is because they have a 12 months plan but you do need to pay a premium price of £320 for the Iphone 3GS 16GB or £420 for the 32GB version. This is, however, taken into consideration a monthly spending of £20 for the next 12 months. If you pay a little bit more for a month (£35), you will pay less for the handset price.

If you think that you are looking towards a pay as you go, look no futher than an Iphone from the O2 network. Buy an Iphone 3GS and then top it up with £20 and then make some calls. After that you could request for a hardware unlock from O2. You would have to ensure that you have £15 in your account before submitting an unlock application here. Bear in mind that your Iphone will be permanently unlocked and not just software unlocked.

Good luck!
