Unrest in Thailand

I am quite concerned with the level of unrest in Thailand particularly as the conflict between the 'red shirt' and 'yellow shirt' protesters. I do feel quite sad with the news that peace in the Thai Kingdom have yet to be resolved.

Thailand have always been a tourist country for many people. You can ask anyone on the street and 10 out of 10 will tell you that they know something about Thailand. However, if you were to ask them about Malaysia...I don't think they know about Malaysia unless they are F1 sports fan or they often travel the world.

A country which never been occupied by any countries except themselves are in the brink of a civil war. Certainly it is not what the King of Thailand would expect from the peoppple, isn't it? I do really hope that there can be a reolution over there...What about a coalition government?

Given the instability of the country, it will hurt the tourism business of the country. Is it what the people want?

Violence is a part of their political culture, they never see it from the stand point of the economy or trade. They are very violent when it comes to politics. A classic example of third world countries.

The current PM is too polished for them, he's an Oxford graduate. At times like this, one has to pull the bull by his horns!
