Limera1n

I am pretty impressed with George Hotz when he managed to release a jailbreak software based on the @Comex exploit two days ago. It came a time when Chronic Dev Team was trying to release greenpois0n on 10/10/2010 at 10:10 GMT but delayed again. Many people were asking the one million dollar question :" Why did George Hotz release Limera1n?"

The answer is simple. George Hotz is a smart guy. Besides that, he is also quite frustrated with the Chronic Dev Team for delaying the release of any solution to jailbreak the iOS 4.1 firmware on the Iphone, Ipod and on the Ipad. I think he could not bear to see people suffering from the lack of respect of some quaters holding back the ability to release a jailbreaking software.

Oh well, the thing is that if you do use the Limera1n software, you would be able to jailbreak your device but I am still wondering whether one could actually unlock their device. I would have to be patient and see what's coming in the near future. In the mean time, the iOS 4.0.1 is good enough for me.
