This Blog Talks About Everything Under The Sun... Enjoy!!!
Because the ruling coalition really does not care what the citizens or the rest of the world thinks.Their priority is to protect their self-interests.
What do you suggest that we as the 'Rakyet' should do?
Oh Come On! This Country has long been rotting! This comment below was sent to Marina Mahathir by a Malaysia Chinese. I respect a lot of your articles but sometimes I'm curious if Tun Dr. Mahathir share the same sentiment regarding hate speech. I can't help voicing my concern to you through this blog. I'm a Malaysian of Chinese ethnicity fear for my family. Reading the article in Malaysian Insider regarding your dad's speech about the Chinese, I can't help to think Chinese is always blamed for problem in the country. Are we real a pariah to the Malays? Are we Malays enemy? Are we not Malaysian? I'm a fourth generation Malaysian yet I feel foreign. Lastly, I'm a Malaysian and not Singaporen.http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/dr-m-warns-of-singapore-fate-for-kg-baru-malays/Lastly, I wish everybody well and hopefully hate speech will end soon. I'm just a minority in this country. Anak Malaysia
There is growing hatred towards non malays in Malaysia and it only gets worse! You people living out of Malaysia don't really know the whole big picture...
Rakyat Bumiputera and Rakyat Bukan Bumiputra are of different standing. Don't Forget! How many times must UMNO leaders repeat this to you?
People do know how they are being treated. I am asking how are we going to solve the problem here.
Well, The Honourable Prime Minister is setting up a Royal Commisson and is in talks with His Majesty The King.
Well, I'm quite optimistic about setting up a Royal Commission. It depends on whether there's separation of powers...
Hahahahahahahahaha! Separation Of Powers! To hang on the wall ah?!
Some how or rather we need to have faith in the system although we know by 99% that it is not going to work.
Faith in the system even though it does not work?? That sounds like a symptom of insanity. What needs to be done is to change the system, but this requires commitment. People are more keen on complaining than actually doing anything.
I do totally agree with you. I'm doing my bit anyway but not that I can do much.
Hahahahahhahahahha! Symptom of insanity! ROTFL! Sadly, this is the reality of Malaysia.
Although there were people trying to break that monopoly, it does not seem to be working especially when you have holicopters taking voter boxes to another location for counting. Many things can go wrong in that.
Crankster, everybody knows that the Opposition cannot work 100% if elected into Government. Just look at them since gaining momentum in 2008. We know they can't function well, yet we need change and a strong opposition. Isn't that insanity too when you know pretty well that the jokers in the opposition are the same fools that just crossed over to a new party?
The Opposition are still wet behind the ears. Give them time and they will turn into the same monsters that BN are right now :-)Like I say: Politicians are a lot like diapers. They should be changed frequently, and for the same reasons. The idea is not to vote them in and ignore them for the next 5 years. They need to be taught that they serve the people, and not the other way round. We need to change the system of ruling a nation. The power is too centralised. We need local councils to assume more responsibility and accountability. The rakyat should be able to elect and dismiss them based on their performance.Absolute power corrupts absolutely. This is what has happened to this nation, but people either don't notice or notice and take flight.
Crankster, I do agree with you. I think the opposition is sound and we should give them some time to restore the country's image in the eyes of the world. I'm afraid that at this moment, we do have two by elections and the government has just started another smear campaign against the De Facto leader of the Alternative Party. What a sad story.
The Opposition was given more than they ever expected from the Rakyat in 2008 and they screwed up big time. No more sympathy for PKR and PAS. The only effective opposition party is DAP and she will remain a force in Parliament.
If you noticed, the government is trying to stir up something big time for Anwar so it comes as no surprise for everyone in the opposition though.
Honestly, it is PKR and PAS that have too many unsettled issues with Anwar Ibrahim and it's a blessings in disguise for BN. Anwar should have at least pretended to be all for Malaysia until he formed the government but no, He had to show his greed and his own followers are unhappy with him. The only damage control that he can do now (if he truely loves Malaysia) is to step down as Opposition Leader and Leader of PKR. Then maybe some Malaysians may vote the opposition. But as far as i see it, BN has gained momentum, whether you like it or not, many chinese have turned back to BN, the indians too and the rural Malays are back in support of BN. Things are looking very good for BN now.
Another smear campaign against PKR. It's sad...
