Missing You

I do have a friend called Kong Weng Sum and he went back to Malaysia for Chinese New Year celebration. I feel so bad as I am not in Malaysia right now. I could have spent some quality time with my parents and have fun! Not that it is necessary but I do miss the both of them.

Sometimes, it is really hard to swallow the fact that you are missing the best part- Chinese New Year celebration back home. Even Song Fei is back in PR China to celebrate her CNY with her parents. She will be back in March 2007.

Got a call from him and he said that he was drinking heavily on the first day of CNY. (Hey! What about me?) He also have the opportunity to meet his parents and all his friends. I do feel that it is so important to see all your home town friends when you go back home. This is to ensure that the friendship will stay the same. Always keep in touch with each other. You might never know what is going to happen, or something new has happened which you will be informed if you still keep in touch with each other. Good friends are meant to be kept in touch for life.

I was hoping that I could go back home to have some nice Chinese food this year. (fingers crossed!). I don't know... We will have a look at what is the outcome. Weng Sum also told me that there are many new small shopping complex which have emerged. This was the result of closing of many nice small hawkers stalls!!! (What? What about mamak then?) I missed the lovely roti planta. Really looking forward to going home and have some nice food to eat.
