A-P-P-R-E-C-I-A-T-I-O-N

Have you ever been let down by your boss for ignoring what you have done good instead of pointing out one or two mistakes which you have made for the period which they have observed? Have you ever had the thinking that you have done your best and gradually improving but yet your boss still nag and tell you that what you have done is not good enough?

I have experienced the above today.

I mean for a start, I do believe that I have made a tremendous improvement in the way how I work and the way how my attitute towards colleagues. Generally, I do not find that I have any problems with them. Oh no...My boss said that I do have problems and I need to sort it out. Fine. That was what I have said. I will improve myself. Well, not everyone is perfect. Take it this way. If I am perfect, I will not be doing a low level job but instead take over my boss' place, right?

How long have I worked in the new place? Barely three months and I see that they are picking on me just because I am the only male working in the place. It is sad to know that they don't appreciate what you have achieved and improved but instead questioned where you have done anything correctly. Oh yes, they will be quick in telling you what you have done wrong. Is that the right way to lead a colleague to glory? I don't think so.

I don't think that in always telling a colleague where he or she has gone wrong and not praising the colleague when he or she has done right is fair. My boss is correct in addressing the fact that I have done something wrong. She put it in a way that what I have done wrong is really serious. Fine. What about the things that I have done right then. Did she say anything about it? Not that I have known of. In fact, she asked me instead of where I have done right.

By doing so it makes sense that she is literally quite bias. She is bias because her mind is set and she can only see one side of the picture. I doubt she can analyse better than me. I can feel that she is trying to extract ideas from me and not her own ideas. This is bad.

I think a good boss should praise her staff when they have done right and correc the staff when they have done wrong and not just keep on correcting the staff of where they have done wrong and ignoring what they have done right. This is depressing.

What I want from her is basically appreciation of my hard work. I can safely say that I am one of the best in the branch in PR skills. No one can beat me. Oh...Do you know what my boss told me? She said that I did get all the customer not because I have asked but customer voluntarily asked me to book them for an appointment. I think this is really a lame remark. Think about it. If I am not a pleasant person or a trustworthy person, will a customer come to me and asked me to book them in to see someone who can help them? Obviously the answer will be 'no' right? Has she thought about it?

I don't even need to ask people whether they would like to come in for an appointment. They voluntarily will ask me to. Don't you think that it is so much better? It seems that someone is unhappy that I am the best in terms of good PR skills. Someone is not happy that I am about or even level with their score even though I have only worked there for less than three months. What is this man...Just because they are higher rank then me does not give them the right to look down on me!!! Talking about respect... *augh*

I am trying all my best to comply with the company policy. They don't seem to take note of the good things that you have done. Instead, they will take note of the incorrect things which you have done no matter how small the mistake would be. Typical person who is jealous of me!!! They can't help that I am better than them in many ways although I am new there. Hey!!! This is good customer service man. A good customer service will render a positive feedback which does not need me to open my mouth before the customer will ask for an appointment. That shows that I am perfect!!!Don't you think so?
