Updates to 'kereta potong'

I do agree with the government's plan to ask owners to take their vehicles to Puspakom for an inspection before the car is being sold. Well, I can see the government is trying to do its bit to protect the consumer. I am indeed impressed with the fact that such measures were being taken onboard quickly.

However, it does not rerquire the existing owner and the new owner to be present at Puspakom before the car is being sold. Well, technically, the existing owner can still meddle with the car before it is being sold at a later date. What the government is trying to do now is to provide some form of protection for potential buyers of used cars. That is an excellent idea.

With this move, the government is shifting the burden to Puspakom which is good. At least, if anything were to go wrong, Puspakom is answerable... Excellent.
