First Great Western

I travel by train a lot. It is more comfortable than taking the coach although one would have to pay double for a return trip in any case in comparison between a trip taking a coach and the train. What is expected from a customer would be timing. The schedule of the train's time table must be correct. Well, it is not always the case.

Sometimes, it really gets on my nerve because a train service would be cancelled and I would have to take another train to another station. I would then have to take a connecting train to get to the destination. This is rather annoys me a lot. So far, it does not happen very often but when it does, I wish I had taken the coach instead.

Common, think about it. You are paying double for the same journey and yet you are not getting the service! What is going on over there? Surely there should be an explanation to it but so what? Customers would have to bear the consequences by having to wait for a longer period to get to their destination.

I wish the British train service would follow the French a little. French trains will always be 99 percent on time. Hum...We will see about it. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the interior of the train as it is always clean. Some of the French trains are not clean.
