Bad news on immigration

I am not going to indulge myself in the debate of Immigration but I am concerned over the Conservative party's policy of tougher restrictions on people who are not coming from the EU States. I don't understand the reason why the Conservative's are so against people who are coming over outside of EU. Is it because they can't effectively control over people who are coming from the EU due to free movement of persons and goods which let to them controlling even more of people coming from outside EU?

That is not a fair comment, right? I mean a country like UK acting like that? I would not want to imagine what is going to happen next.

On a separate issue, Gordan Brown, on the advice of Lord West, is proposing tougher laws on border controls to weed out terrorism. That would mean that there will have more checks and will cause delays in the airport and also railway stations. I think that it is a good move but it will definitely cause a lot of delays and customers will effectively be disappointed and will try to stay away from going to Heathrow due to the delays and unecessary checks in the airport especially... We will see about it then.

Don't you think that Labour will win the 2/3rds majority? I believe they would. They may not win huge but the 2/3rds majority should be achieveable.

I don't know but right now PM Gordan Brown is facing huge criticism from the opposition parties.
