Microsoft v Commission

I am so delighted that the case of Microsoft v Commission have finally come to an end. It was a long fouht saga which saw each sides battling the courts forever! As some of you might know, Mircrosoft first lost the case with the Commission and then they lost the appeal in the European Court of First Instance. Hence forth, Microsoft have decided that enough is enough. They have stopped appealing to higher courts.

This would mean that Microsoft would have to pay a total of €497 million in terms of fine and they would have to make way for a version of Windows XP without Windows Media Player which is call Windows XP (N).I don't understand the point of having another version of Windows XP. Ha! Kroes finally got Microsoft then.
