London Heathrow

Oh no...Airlines are being charged for more if they taxi at Heathrow airport. This would mean that most likely, airlines will pass on the extra charge to its passengers in the future. I am pretty sure about it. If you look at this article, you will find that such news will be bad for customers. Well, I don't think the government is taking this as a bad sign.

First of all, UK is committed to climate change and we need to go green. PM Gordan Brown has said that we need to do more to help mother Earth. How to do it then? Increase tax and insurance on gas guzzling vehicles and air travel will be just the beginning. Well, they are thinking of increasing tax on rubbish collection. Oh well, what else are they planning to do? Oh, recently the government have planned to ban all single use carrier bags in supermarkets.

In this case, it is quite common in Dublin. Shoppers have to bring in their carrier bags because stores will not have carrier bags! If you do not have a carrier bag, you would have to pay 10 cents to buy one. I am sure people who frequently shop at Lydl and Aldi will noticed that they have to pay for carrier bags. I think UK should start doing that to help the enviornment, don't you think so?
