Good Work BoE

I am writing in response to this article where it states that the Bank of England is willing to provide more funds to commercial banks. That would surely ease some problems that current financial institutions are facing. Banks used to lend money to each other for a short period of time when they need it. However, due to the recent credit crunch (surprise surprise), banks no longer willing to lend money to each other. If they do, the money involved will be in small quantities. This is a troubling situation because if banks are no longer willing to lend money to each other, the whole banking system might stall for no apparent reason.

That was why the Bank of England has decided to release more money into the banking sector in hoping that banks will be able to lend money to each other. Ultimately it will ease the tension in the house market. Right now as I am writing, there are certain areas in the UK where people will see their house prices falling faster than ever! I am glad that the Bank of England has taken up steps to counter the tension in the banking sector. Kudos to BoE!

Yup, i heard it in this Morning's news. Meanwhile, the Olympic Torch has arrived KL and will make it's was through KL from Noon till 7pm.

I see not protest so far. Well, Malaysians are not as informed as Europeans when it comes to the Tibet issue. Furthermore it's not an Islamic problem. That's Malaysia, just very shallow & ignorant.

The thing is that would you want to protest when you know that by protesting, you will be talking about ISA for two years without trial?

The Malaysian Constitution allows peaceful assembly for peaceful protest. This is something that the government is slow to understand, ignorant & aragont more like it.

ISA should be abolished...

ISA should not be abolished at this moment when the world is faced with International Terrorism.

I do understand but do you think the government might take the opportunity to abuse its powers?
