I have been using FIrefox 3 for the past one year and it is really good indeed. Unfortunately, when Apple's Safari browser appeared on pc, I thought that I might want to give it a try as the Safari browser on the Apple macbook which I had, was really stable. I then stopped using Firefox 3 and began using Safari. That was the earlier Safari which I think it had lots of un-user friendliness installed within. That was why I started looking elsewhere but ended up with Firefox 3.
Over the months I was able to see developments of the updated FIrefox 3 and it looks as if it is actually getting better as the day goes by! I am loving it. I also like the fact that FIrefox 3 is very user friendly. It reminds me of the good old Netscape which was bought over by AOL and now defunct. I felt so sorry for Netscape because when it started, it was 'The' browser unlike Internet Explorer. Back in the days, I always use Netscape and left Internet Explorer without even using it for a bit. That was the good old Netscape days.
When Firefox appeared, I followed and it went from version 2 to now version 3. There will be a later version than this soon. Not too soon, Internet Explorer came up with IE 6 and then IE 7 which continued to explore on the GUI and also lots of other enhancements including security patches. Microsoft said that IE7 (back then) was the most secured MIcrosoft browser yet but people managed to find security breaches all over. That is why you have the famous 'Patch Wednesday'.
When Microsoft announced IE 8, I was asked to try out the browser. I found out that there was nothing spectacular about it so I continued with Mozilla Firefox 3 until the release of IE8 beta 2. Why? Microsoft introduced the 'inprivate' option where user's whereabouts will not be log on the computer itself. Other people have mentioned that the so called 'inprivate' was not something new as Safari had their own 'inrpivate' option which is called 'private browsing'. I then started using Safari and found out that the option was quite useful. I do not need to delete the cache and history anymore because there was nothing to delete at the first place! It saved me time to do it. I then tried IE8 beta 2 seriously.
Well, I know that you can use the compatibility button on the IE8 beta 1 and 2 but some how or rather, the browser will hang while I was surfing the internet, trying to gain access to some websites. It is pretty bad as I resort to Safari. In the end, I have dump IE8 beta 2. I have gone back to Apple's Safari browser. It is much faster and less crashes. That is why I have mentioned earlier, don't use IE8. Just skip the process and go for Safari or Firefox.

No problem, anytime. I am thinking of uninstalling Internet Explorer 8 on my pc but I think it is impossible to do so but I will definitely try out.
