Talk n Text on the Tube

Since I am a frequent user of the underground and the train, it is really frustrated to see that your connection has been disconnected due to the no reception on the tube and when the train is actually passing through a tunnel or just being underground.

I don't quite like it because I can't check my e-mails while on the go on my favourite Nokia E71. That is pretty crap. Don't like it at all... I was told that this situation will be changing as O2 UK is going to install underground antenna to ensure that O2 customer will have reception while being underground.

I think this should be the way. Look at China. China Mobile has reception in the underground and even in the lift. Just check out my previous post. Anyway... Good for o2. I really hope that other network operators will follow O2. I might want to switch over to O2 later but this is just too early because O2's reception is on par with Vodafone UK. If they can operate in all undergrounds and tunnels in the UK, I think Vodafone will follow suit. Good then! I would not have problems with disconnection.
