Dewan Rakyat Speaker

Just as I was thinking that there are fairness within the Dewan Rakyat, I was really disappointed with the fact that the speaker of the House - Tan Sri Pandikar Amin is so bias towards BN and always stop the opposition party speakers from proceeding in the House of Parliament.

I think the speaker of the house should be someone who is unbias but as what people would think, the current speaker in the Parliament is BIAS!!! Just watch the television everyday and you will understand.

When Malaysians have the opportunity to watch the parliament in session, they will understand how the speaker was so bias against the opposition party. The speaker will not ask the ruling party MPs to stop if they have made some personal remark against opposition MPs but he was so quick to stop opposition party MPs for voicing out some differences. That is pretty obvious that he is bias. We will see who will win in the next general election.

FOUL WORD CAUSES UPROAR IN DEWAN RAKYAT
Bernama
Bernama - Thursday, November 6

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 (Bernama) -- A battle of words between Datuk Tajuddin Abdul Rahman (BN-Pasir Salak) and M. Kulasegaran (DAP-Ipoh Barat) turned nasty when a foul word was uttered in the Dewan Rakyat today.

Kulasegaran who had interjected the speech by Dr Micheal Jeyakumar Devaraj (PSM-Sungai Siput) during debate on the Supply Bill 2009 said the voters of Pasir Salak particularly Indians did not like its Member of Parliament.

An angry Tajuddin then stood up and retorted: "You (Kulasegaran) are a bloody bastard," and asked him to explain what he meant by that.

Deputy Speaker Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar then asked Tajuddin and Kulasegaran to retract the charge and foul word as it showed a lack of culture.

"If we don't want people to call us such, then we must not act like one," he said.

Tajuddin then said he accepted the advice of Dr Wan Junaidi and retracted the foul word out of respect for the Deputy Speaker.

"Ipoh Barat (Kulasegaran) had shamed me. It was sheer nonsense, a lie," he said accompanied by table thumping from government backbenchers.

Dewan Rakyat session continues tomorrow.
