Money Politics

If you really read online news, in particular this page, you will see that Tun Mahathir is willing to come forward in naming those people who are involved in money politics.

Oh yes, finally he said it. He knows who are those people who are involved in money politics. I have no doubts about it. He will be able to do so particularly if you have served the country as a prime minister for more than twenty years!!!

My question will be whether it will be wise for him to do considering first of all, he might be the worst offender (no disrespect), he will be creating lots of enemies and thirdly, his popularity might decrease if he does that. I salute him as he has guts to do it and I believe that he will be able to do it. Perhaps it is one of those cherries which are attracting UMNO to speedup his membership into UMNO. Who knows? I have nothing against the MAN but think about the consequences if he does that. I know that he is very influential but think twice before doing such things. I do not want him to end up like RPK. Well, we will see about it though.

On the other hand, I feel like giving up hope in Malaysia politics. Just think about it. I do take Rapid KL nowdays and the bus driver will usually hand you a ticket which is valid for the whole day. When you get down from the bus, the bus driver might ask for your ticket particularly if you have reached your final destination. What they will do is to hand out those used tickets and recycle it so that they can collect the RM2 for every single 'recycled' ticket.

My question is: Is this not something of a bad practice? If bus drivers are doing it, what do you expect those people who are at the top of the chain then?
