I have to say that Nokia is always the favourite manufacturer when it comes to smartphones. I was rather surprise when it did not include HTC as they are one of the best smartphone manufacturers around.
Nokia is good in creating better smartphones but I think they have not been advertising well. If you noticed, the Nokia E71 was delayed in rolling out even though their E66 was already selling like hotcakes. What people will want is actually the E71 because it resembles a Blackberry! Nowdays people know about Blackberry but when I tell them that I am using a nokia E71, they replied...:What? Nokia E71?
I think advertisement is a very important tool to promote your products. If you noticed, both Apple and RIM have been marketing their products like nobody's business. They have invested in advertising to stick the brand into people's mind. Well, Apple and RIM have done it. Now, it is time for Nokia to do the same. Well, I do have faith in Nokia. In fact, I don't really like to use Apple's Iphone at all because it is so difficult to use although the functions are pretty cool. The GUI is really nice. Apart from that, the Iphone cannot compare to the Nokia E71 because the Nokia E71 rocks and the iphone doesn't!!!
Well, many people will have different thought about that but to me, I have both versions of the Iphone before and I don't like it. Typing with the virtual keyboard requires a lot of time as compared to the Nokia E71. Even the applications are limited on the Iphone. It is worst on the Blackberry although Apple have released many applications for downloading but it comes with a price. It could not compare with the flexibility of the Symbian OS.
At the end of the day, Nokia rules!!!
