Youngsters Today

I have to say that I am pretty shocked to see that youngsters are pretty different compared to what we were last night. Now days people are more interested in getting to know more people and fall in love... Well, not really fall in love but to have some fun. There are many people who are doing it right now.

Sadly, I don't really think why people would want to hang around in cyber cafe or other internet shops to chat with strangers. So happened, I got to see someone sitting beside me and do you know what they were doing? They are among hundreads or maybe even thousands of people who are looking for love. Look, they are not old but they are just barely twenty years old! This is no joke. Is this the future of many Malaysians? I don't know. Why can't they spend some good times at home or look for books in how to improve their inter personal skills? I don't understand this.

Yes, I am in a cyber cafe but it was the case as I do not have an internet connection at home right now. Youngsters are loitering around cyber cafes to make new friends through the internet e.g. msn, yahoo messenger or bebo. I find it so hard to accept that the fact that they could not do something more constructive. It is still schooling hours but what I saw is really sad. I really hope that the government will do something good for the people. Youngsters do not have places to go or something good to do! What do you expect them to do? Stay at home when there are nothing to do at thome? Even broadband is pretty slow e.g. streamyx rated at 1mbps but actually running at 300kbps...

Tell me then...how to solve this problem?

They look for love in the cyber world because there is no love at home. Family members these days no longer have a friendship and bond with their children. This is the reality of today's world.

That is the problem now days. I just don't understand what are those parents doing? Money is not the ultimate thing in this world though.

So no one has the right to blame these children, they are only looking for love and protection which their families ignore. These children are just normal human beings, looking for love.

Well, do you think we have the right to voice our concern? I think parents should play a vital role in the upbringing of a child, right?
