With casulties this time, I am not convinced that the government is going to put an end to this matter. No doubt that the government has frozen all hilltop projects, nevertheless, I think, this measure is only temporary. In due course, such projects are going to continue anyway, don't you think so? I am not sure about it. We don't really get reports regarding whether such hilltop projects are terminated permanently. There is no guarantee that the government may allow contractors to revive such projects.
I am also sad that people are cutting down trees to build houses. It is an issue of the environment! What is going on with these people? Can't they realise that without proper support of trees, the soil will erode? Think twice before doing anything. Can't they ever learn? I think some people are not environmental friendly despite the push by the government to make known to people that they should be. How sad. What are we going to do next? It is the monsoon season right now so landslides might happen. What about non monsoon season then? Will the government approve such hilltop projects? We will see about it when time comes.
On the latest news, expert have mentioned that they may have found the cause of the landslide. The cause of the landslide would most probably be due to the abandoned double storey houses just above the house along Jalan Wangsa Maju 9. Terrible!!! It means that we have got to be extra careful when dealing with housing projects which are abandoned as the foundation of such houses may be weak and hence the soil would give way.

What has happened is just too saddening and shameful. This is what happens what corruption is beyond control! In a developing nation such as ours, this is an international disgrace!
I think the government should stand firm in making sure that such incident will never happen again.
