It is quite sad to know that some mobile operators are in short of funds to build more towers while some mobile operators are still waiting for permission to build such towers a specific area. I don't think there is any problems in getting a strong signal while you are in the city especially in KL but it is sad to know that the coverage in small towns are pretty bad.
I had the opportunity to pay a visit to one of my friends who lived close to Tanjong Malim. I was shocked to see that Digi coverage in the area is poor while my Maxis signal is pretty good! That is a good thing for Maxis. I have faith in Maxis. Not that I don't think highly about Digi but Digi's coverage mainly focused in a city rather than in a small town. Well, you can say that Celcom is also providing a good service as their mobile coverage in the country is around 90% nationwide, the latest figure shows that they have 95% coverage in the country at large. That is good news.
Nonetheless, Celcom is the MOST expensive mobile provider in the country. They charge customer according to zones while Digi and Maxis have eliminated such charges. I don't understand why Celcom is still charging customer according to zones. That is rather too expensive. Look at Digi and Maxis. Due to their excellent tariffs, they monopolise the mobile phone market in Malaysia. I believe that they earn it. Digi still hold the number one spot in the number of prepaid customers in Malaysia while Maxis is gaining ground on both prepaid and also in postpaid customers. Way to go Maxis!!!

too bad to hear that. malaysia isn't really a nice country to stay and work.
celcom really s*cks!
Well, to tell you honestly, Malaysia is the best place for non-Malaysians to stay. They are 'kings' and 'queens', just like in the Narnia series. I think you will be absolutely be treated like a king if you do come over here to stay. Unfortunately, not everyone will benefit though. Ask any Malaysians and they will tell you. You are alright. Trust me.
Ditto, Celcom is in pretty bad shape. I wonder what is happening after TM Touch bought over Celcom? TM Touch is not doing well. After buying out Celcom, they are still the same. It is about the attitude at work. I wish people can change their way of working. Look at Singapore. If you are no efficient, you will be saying goodbye to your job.
