Ad-aware

I have been using the free version of Ad-aware for two or more years. I find the software to be quite useful these days. However, I hit a snag lately as I could not finish downloading the updates through Ad-aware's web update. It will start updating but it will not be able to complete updating it. I just could not think of a better way to do it. Any ideas people?

In fact, I have been trying to update the definition file for ages but it gets stuck towards the end of the process. Oh dear...
