Anwar - Stepping down?

If you have read the papers today, you will noticed that there are rivalry between PKR component members. I have to say that when you are at the top of the chair, the last thing which you want is someone who will try to topple you, giving you evidence that they could. That was what happened to DAP chairman when he said that Anwar should step down as PKR coalition leader. I don't see what is the problem here.

We could not see what was wrong. It is also wrong to put the blame on Anwar alone. Yes, he is the leader of PKR. What has he done wrong? We commoners would not know what is going on in the coalition. Only those who are involved in the party will know. Yes, we do know that there are party poopers who are willing to hop to another party but the bigger picture is yet to know. What caused them (party hoppers) to move from one party to another?

To answer this question, I don't really know what is going on in their (party hoppers from PKR to BN) minds. Perhaps they were being promised of a greater deal then being in the PKR coalition or in a nutshell, it is all for personal interest. I think I have mentioned about a member of an opposition party who lashed out at one successful MP for discriminating against him. Later on, the party found out that he was actually keeping the donations for himself, rather than the party. Well, what are you going to say about that?

I am not saying bad about Karpal Singh. I have great respect for him. He was one of the backbone of Malaysian Criminal Justice lawyer. Back in the days whereby he tried his best to help the infamous 'Botak Chin' case but the accused was sentenced to hang until death in the end. Oh well, what can I say about the whole situation then? We need to be in unity. We need to unite. Without unity, the whole coalition will crumble.

In Karpal Singh's statement, it was reported that he would like DAP to stay away from PKR coalition, instead being an independent party. It reminds me of someone who always tell me that DAP should stay alone. Ha, oh well, what can I say then? DAP is a very strong party. I believe DAP can stand alone. We will see in the coming days but to blame everything on Anwar is just not cool.

This is the link to the updated news. You do get a reply from Anwar as to Karpal's outburst.
