Competition Law in Malaysia

I am wondering whether the Malaysian Parliament will come up with its own purpose build Competition law legislation. I do understand that in Malaysia, most of the Competition law would rest upon the MCMC. My next question would be: When is Malaysia going to have its own Competition Law legislation then? Wait until the cows come home?
