Obesity

Do you know why people are obese? There are many reasons to it. One may be the fact that the person is very unhappy with his life and he has no one to talk to. I have to say that it happens to not only men but also women. It is a well known fact that people will eat to release their tension. Well, for some people, they might smoke more often or drink to drown their sorrows. The question is: why not they seek help? Are they too afraid to seek help from other people? Why don't they do so?

There are organizations to help depressed people or potential depressed person. With the help from the NHS, I am sure that the country will be able to resolve many depressed people. It is a common sickness and no one should be ashamed of if one is suffering from it. It is important to seek help and not doing nothing. Once the sickness is identified, get some help and the person will be fine.

By resorting to bad eating habit is not a solution to your problem...

It would be a good idea to ask those who lead a healthy lifestyle despite daily depression, high-level pressure and stress for advice. Nobody mentions them.

to each his own, it's a matter of choice and democratic right of an individual to live his life his way. Too much presumptions are made on obese people and more often than not obese people are judged very superficially and narrowly. Never judge a book by it's cover!

What am I trying to say is that obesity is a curable disease. It can be treated but the most important thing is that the victim himself/herself must learn to accept that he/she is obese. Otherwise, they will not seek treatment.

You are speaking to a person who comes from a family of doctors. Obesity is not disease. Obesity is usually when people have a low metabolic rate. For example, you do have the capacity of consuming more than me, i know you well enough to say that.

But me, i stick to my basic three meals, i never keep on eating the whole day, some days i only have two meals. I am very active. I don't eat as much as i look! So stop the presumptions!

Some people have a high metabolic rate, some have a low metabolic rate. It only becomes a disease if the eating is non stop or if the person stops eating completely.

And do you know the amount of thin people who have various diseases? The doctors in my family get patients who are thin coming in with all sort of health problems.

So never be too judgemental or egoistic. Sickness, Diseases and death does not discriminate, it can come to anybody at any time! Your opinion is rather narrow minded and not substantiated with enough evidence.

Uhm. Obesity is a disease because it is severely compromised state of health. Low metabolic rate is a symptom of it, and, inexcusable if allowed by choice. One allows it by rejecting betterment.

Emotional eating and gluttony are causes.

I think people should realize that they are not doctors themselves and should a doctor's advice if there is a problem with them. Never feel shy.

Hold, I am not talking about you. Why on earth you are always thinking that people are talking about you and you alone?
