Police Powers

After reading through what went wrong in Perak, I feel that the police is incapable of doing their job according to their powers. What I meant was there was no separation of powers!!! Police, likewise, are subjected to political influence.

Since when police in Malaysia have any conscience about their surroundings? They arrest people when it is not needed as what happened infront of the Parliament a year and a half ago. They should be getting rid of the illegal immigrants along Petaling Street instead of allowing them to pursue their course. Question here is whether the police is willing to take the action against them then? I don't think so. Petaling street has been filled with Chinese but now, you can only see foreigners selling goods and not Chinese selling goods. Where are the Chinese selling goods then?
