Blogger's Privacy

In a landmark case -The Author of a Blog v Times Newspapers Ltd [2009] EWHC 1358 QBD, it is stated that a blogger's identity cannot be protected. I think it is fair for the judge to reveal any blogger's identity because if not, there might be people abusing the system for their advantage. I don't see that a blogger's identity can be protected. Look at the current situation - With secured IP address, one cannot escape being 'private' anymore. Look, it is the digital age - One cannot think as if we are still living in the past. If anyone were to argue that such action by the High Court in revealing the blogger's name will lead to a breach of his Human Rights, I would like to know whether the blogger will have any rights at all in such circumstances when the blogger was referring to real cases which he/she was involved...
