Beware - Ipod/Iphone User

It is reported that a user of the Ipod/Iphone especially the Iphone 3GS might get an electric shock from using the Ipod/Iphone earbuds. Apple made this claim by saying that the electric shock is unavoidable due to a build-up of static electricity which is not a usual condition to Apple's products.

I have to say that being a gigantic company, Apple is very irresponsible. What do they expect from customers? To me, I feel that Apple should ensure that their products should conform to the safety of their customers. Why should customers apply hand lotion or body lotion to ensure that they will not suffer some electric shock? Why are Apple customers allowing Apple to punish them (as customers)? Have you all gone mad? Why are you people allowing Apple to exploit you all?
