Nokia to be sold for US$19 Billion?

To be honest, I would think that Nokia is on the verge of a total collapsed. First of all, when Elop came onboard, he has made significant changes in the way Nokia operates. He has tried to scale down Nokia's expansion. Having said that, I don't think Elop will try to sell Nokia to Microsoft but there is always a possibility when it comes to the real world.

It has been the talk of the town when it comes to the relationship between Microsoft and Nokia. It is now officially announced that Meego is now done and dusted - The OS is buried with the exception of Acer trying to revive the OS by announcing a tablet on Meego. The most important thing which Nokia is trying to do now is to port over Microsoft Phone OS to its mobile devices while maintaining Symbian OS for some mid range mobile phone.

Not really sure what Nokia is up to but their X7 and E6 is to be released in June 2011 with Anna OS. I am sure that it will be a happy occasion for many including myself as I am waiting for Nokia to release their Anna OS before buying the E6 as I am not used to a Blackberry. Besides, the SAR on the Blackberry is quite high as compared to any Nokia phones. I will be waiting...

Nokia is now heading off to a bad start - it is forecasted that they will make a loss for Q3 and Q4 this year... What a shame!
