Bersih 2.0

I was quite disappointed with some of the police brutality during the latest protest by the Bersih organisation on 9 July 2011. I would not understand how some policemen could be so forceful as in beating fallen protesters on the street.

According to some videos posted on youtube, there were more than 6000 protesters on that day despite the fact that the country's IGP stated that only 6000 protesters were counted. It was sad when the government instructed FRUs to manage the crowd throughout the whole day and declared curfew from 12 midnight to 6pm on 9 July 2011.

What is Malaysia becoming? What would tourist think about the present coalition government?
