Make ketum a dangerous drug

Hear me well brothers and sisters. Malaysia is going to make ketum leaves and drinks under the dangerous drugs Act soon. Personally I do not have any experience in chewing ketum leaves but drinks classified under the Dangerous Drugs Act? Hum... I think they are thinking that drinking too much will be harmful to the people. With respect, that is true as there are people who would just drink until non stop.

The question is whether it is necessary to classify drinks under the Dangerous Drugs Act? Is it so severe that we have to put down in pen and paper? What would the government do about the legislation then? What are the provisions for the drinks? Let me see... selling more than one bottle of wine to one customer is not allowed? I don't know... We will see about it.

Aiyoh! Politics here in Malaysia can be rather shallow! MPs indulge in Trivial Issues just for cheap publicity! Some time back they were debating on an Indian Herb used in cooking called 'Kas-Kas' or in English called 'Poppy Seed'. Oh Come on! It's been used since the Beginning of times! These shallow MPs should start working on Productivity & Constructive Work for the Country instead of playing on Trivial, Racial & Religious Politics just to gain cheap publicity & support from some Shallow & unexposed Malaysians!

SINGAPORE NEWS, Minister Mentor LEE Kuan Yew acknowledged the view that some people are genetically destined to be homosexual, "I have asked Doctors this, that you are genetically born a homosexual because the nature of the genetic random transmisson of genes, you can't help it. So why should we criminalise it?" LEE said that Singapore should not intefere with Homosexuals, "Let's not go around like Moral Police...barging into People's Bedrooms! That is Not our Business! What i see is an inevitable force of time & circumstances."

This is the Man who made Singapore. He started Singapore without a single dime! And look at Singapore today, its one of Worlds most significant country & has a Robust economy controlled by Harworking & determined Chinese Citizens. Today, LEE over the age of 80 speaks out bravely that Gays are entitled to live their lives their way, they are entitled for equal civil liberties & Singapore Must respect them & their lifestyle. Moral of the Story here is, if an 80 year old former Prime Minister can speak up in this manner, then there is no excuse fo those who remain in rigid old school of torts! At the end of the day, People must be educated & exposed & learn to respect all mankind. I salute You Most Honourable Mr.LEE Kuan Yew & GOD BLESS YOU with many more years to come. Joshua Lopez, Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA.

Tell me about it. How can we change them then?

I think the best thing is that there should be a consultation just like in the UK before any legislation is being put into place. I wonder when would the consultation be?

The Malaysian MPs will not change, they enjoy such cheap politics instead of getting down with constructive work.

Perhaps someone should speak out in the parliament so that only constructive comments are made.

What a Stone Age Country Malaysia is! They have a Rehabilitation Centre for those Muslims wanting to leave Islam! Ha! Ha! Ha! This is worse than feudalism coupled with utter stupidity!

Well, in the end, it is to the advantage of the Member Of Parliament to voice out anything which they think that it will attract the interest of the public and therefore it is important to voice out in the parliament. In the UK, Member of the Parliament sometimes would have to stay back late until midnight just to get a bill passed... Funny eh?
