Budget 2008 (UK)

We are really excited to hear the latest budget report by Mr. Alistair Darling today. I do not know what would be the outcome but surely it is stipulated that the result is not going to be good either. There are speculations that the government is going to increase road tax for vehicles with big engines (it is like punishing people for driving big cars that polutes the air) and also a significant increase in air travel taxes. This will make air travel to be more expensive this way.

We are also waiting for the budget to see whether there will be an increase in personal income tax. I would think that Mr. Darling would decrease personal income tax rate but we will have a look.
