Terengganu Crisis

You would know that by looking at the newspaper, we do have a new Terengganu Menteri Besar who was appointed by the Sultanate. Oh well, I don't see what is going on over there which is mainly, a big issue. As far as I know, the new MB of Terengganu defied UMNO's instructions and went ahead to take office as the MB of Terengganu without swearing in. He was saying that by the appointment letter from the Sultnate will be sufficient.

I might be wrong but will it create a problem between the Sultanate and the ruling party BN then? What is so wrong of him doing that? He went against UMNO's decision. Certainly he was not following PM Abdullah's leadership in this sense. Oh well... WE will see about it then.

It seems that PM Abdullah has agreed with the Sultan of Terengganu that the appointment of the new Terengganu MB is justified!!! Yahoo!

The New MB did attend swearing in & he took his oath in the Palace. There is a lot of reasons why the Sultan of Terengganu who is also the current King has rejected Idris Jusoh as the incumbent MB & appointed another MB. One of the reasons is that Idris Jusoh & KJ have been flaunting state money by involving themselves in the Petrol Business & making an income of RM1 Billion a year. Idris Jusoh has also be flaunting the Bumiputera Shares of Terengganu amounting to RM1 Billion. The King is very annoyed & has stripped Idris Jusoh & his fellow men from the Datukships!

Constitutionally i don't know why there's a sudden rise of Sultan's interfering with Political Governance but it's clear that extreame corruption on the part of the Ruling Governmet exsits big time!

I think what the Sultan is doing is basically doing in the best interest of the State, don't you think so?
