Oh My God...

When you talk about politicians being conferred the title of 'Tun', you would be wondering who would that be. A good example will be Dr. Mahathir where he was awarded the title of 'Tun' after he retired as the longest serving Prime Minister in Malaysia. It goes the same to Dr. Lim Keng Yeik as he will be awarded the title of 'Tun'. The question is to ask why has Samy Vellu not awarded the title of 'Tun'?

I have been reading through Lim Kit Siang's blog and found many people of in agreement with the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong for not conferring such an excellent title to Samy Vellu because he has caused hardship towards the people especially in the area of coming up with more toll booths then ever! Moreover, there were people who accused him of corruption and malpractice. What is important is that the Agong was right in not rewarding him the title.

Personally, I do not hold any grudge against anyone but I think Samy Vellu should think about why he was not awarded such a title. We do agree that he has agreed to build more toll booths when MIC was under his belt but it is justiciable for him to continue allowing toll booth to continue even after the agreement that the toll booth should be taken down? One good example will be the Cheras Toll Booth. Look at it now. It is still operational. Why? The toll booth has been there for such a long time! Can't the government do something about it? I have no idea...
